Cat Tassini is an artist, designer, and filmmaker based in New York City. The focus of her artistic practice is creating music- and documentary-based videos from an intersectional feminist perspective. Her films have been screened at Bushwick Film Festival, South by Southwest Film, and Los Angeles Center for Digital Art. Her visual and installation art has been featured at Elements Music and Arts Festival, Zero Space, Knockdown Center, and Rubulad. In 2020, she won the Queering the Quarantine Challenge at OUTStream Film Fest. Currently, Cat is in development for her first feature-length film project, “Echo’s Answer.” The short film version of this project won the Outstanding Sound at the 2022 Art of Brooklyn Film Festival.
